World Breastfeeding Week Highlights Uniting for the Common Good

World Breastfeeding Week

Join us in celebrating the 25th annual World Breastfeeding Week. Observed internationally from August 1-7, World Breastfeeding Week showcases the importance of protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding around the world. This year’s theme is “Sustaining Breastfeeding Together.”

Coordinated by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA), World Breastfeeding Week 2017 seeks to:

  • Anchor: recognise your role and the difference you make within your area of work
  • Engage: reach out to others to establish areas of common interest
  • Galvanise: work together to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030

Watch a World Breastfeeding Week message from Dato’ Dr. Anwar Fazal, Chairperson Emeritus of WABA:

For decades, Jones & Bartlett Learning has been committed to creating high-quality breastfeeding resources for clinicians, students, and instructors. We proudly celebrate World Breastfeeding Week.
