    In this upcoming webinar, Introduction to Health Research Methods author Kathryn Jacobsen will discuss strategies for teaching quantitative and qualitative health research methods.

    More specifically, she will:

    • Discuss the CEPH (public health) competencies focused on quantitative and qualitative data collection, use, and analysis.
    • Illustrate the steps of the research process used by both quantitative and qualitative researchers.
    • Present ideas about assessment activities for demonstrating integration of quantitative and qualitative research methods.



    Dr. Kathryn H. Jacobsen is a professor of Epidemiology and Global Health at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.


    She has written more than 175 peer-reviewed articles and is the author of Introduction to Global Health,Third Edition and Introduction to Health Research Methods, Third Edition.
