    Who Cares About Healthcare Ethics?

    Who cares about healthcare ethics?  If you are part of healthcare that represents public health, your answer is “we do”. When you examine your responsibilities in public health practice, you can see that they are founded in concern for others, and go beyond the individual. Your mission is never simple because public health deals with the complexities of educating, changing behaviors, and protecting the community through legislation and action. In addition, there is never enough funding to do all that needs to be done. Public health is often the unnoticed hero.
