With more people living longer, health care has never been more important. That's why we recently published a new edition of Kristen Mauk's trusted Gerontological Nursing: Competencies for Care, a text that focuses on caring for older adults through a holistic and interdisciplinary approach.

    Based on the framework of the core competencies for baccalaureate nursing education published by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and the John A.
