New Review: Comprehensive Lactation Consultant Exam Review, Third Edition

Posted by Katie Hennessy on Aug 25, 2011 11:56:51 AM

Cynthia J. Smith, BS, IBCLC from the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) has recently reviewed Linda J. Smith's Comprehensive Lactation Consultant Exam Review, Third Edition. Here is an excerpt:

"This is the book to buy if you are nervous about taking the IBCLC exam and have on line access to view the 500 pictures not included in the book. The book is divided into four main parts: Suggested Clinical Exercises, Case Reports and Practice Questions, Questions by
Chronological Period (a new feature with this edition), and 2 practice exams. The first-time exam taker should not miss reading the author’s notes on preparing for the exam (p. xi). The introduction gives a good overview on how to use the book and website efficiently. The 7 pages of Bibliography and Resources at the end are worth saving for future reference."
