In honor of Nurse's Week we continue to spotlight nurses that are truly making a difference through their work and in their communities. As part of our campaign to spotlight nurses in celebreation of the World Health Organization's Year of the Nurse and Midwife, this week we're recognizing, Ladsine who was nominated by her friend, Tomika.
"Ladsine, has worked with the aging veteran population as an advanced practice nurse for over 20 years. She is shining example of valuable, consistent clinical expertise. During her time at the VA Ladsine has had the opportunity to participate in some clinical projects that will better serve the aging veteran population within the system. With her quiet gentle personality she is seen as an expert clinician, often informally mentoring new clinicians. Ladsine has had a noticeable impact on patients in the compassionate care she gives and by colleagues in her competent practice."
On behalf of Jones & Bartlett Learning we thank you for your kind and compassionate service to veterans.
