Earlier this week, Jones & Bartlett Learning announced a new publishing partnership with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT). As a result, our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) product line will immediately begin offering the NAEMT educational programs previously published with Elsevier, Inc., including the market-leading Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS).

“Jones & Bartlett Learning is excited to partner with an organization as prestigious as NAEMT,” said Ty Field, CEO of Jones & Bartlett Learning. “NAEMT’s PHTLS, and AMLS programs are well-known and highly-regarded throughout the world. Adding PHTLS and AMLS — along with new EMS training programs we will develop together in the future — to our existing line of award-winning EMS resources only strengthens Jones & Bartlett Learning’s position in the public safety community.”

Formed in 1975, with more than 32,000 current members, NAEMT is the nation’s only organization dedicated solely to representing the professional interests of all EMS practitioners, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, first responders, and other professionals working in prehospital emergency medicine. NAEMT members work in all sectors of EMS, including government service agencies, fire departments, hospital based ambulance services, private companies, industrial and special operations settings, and in the military.

“NAEMT is pleased to have the opportunity to work with Jones & Bartlett Learning in supporting our PHTLS and AMLS courses and the EMS students taking our courses,” said Connie Meyer, NAEMT’s President. “We believe that Jones & Bartlett Learning’s depth of expertise and resources in the fields of public safety and healthcare education complement our focus on providing the highest quality materials to our students.”

Jones & Bartlett Learning, together with NAEMT, will continue to support and enhance the existing NAEMT programs both domestically and internationally with resources available on www.jblearning.com. For more information on our EMS product line, visit our website.
